Students will understand the legal and discretionary compensation benefits available and the costs related to these benefits. This understanding will come from the material in the book, student and team research and examining various case studies. HR Explores strategic choices in managing compensation through a pay model that is based upon the foundational policy decisions of the compensation system, the means of compensation, and the objectives of the compensation.
Written Assignments Case Studies: You will have four 4 case studies to read and respond in writing to questions associated with each case.
Be sure to address each question for the case. Typically, a case will have additional issues not addressed within the given questions. Feel free to add additional relevant insight. Using recognized outside sources is encouraged to help you examine the issues in the case.
The papers can be as long or as short as you feel is necessary to support your stance. For each paper make sure you: Final Project You will design a total compensation package for an organization.
